We offer our clients substantially discounted rates for our services by using a cost effective, yet highly trained support staff in India to provide technical and support services on matters.  We have an affiliate office in Gurgaon, India that houses our staff of IP Specialists.  By taking advantage of the wage difference between India and the United States, Intellipex is able to retain the brightest and most talented patent attorneys and engineers in India at above-market wages, while providing low cost and high quality services to our clients. Our India-based IP Specialists are graduates of premier Indian universities and have extensive experience in drafting patents for U.S. companies and inventors. Many of our India-based IP Specialists have advanced technical degrees, in addition to having graduated from top Indian law schools. Our IP Specialists have vast experience in drafting patent applications that regard, amongst other types of subject matter,  chemical, pharmaceutical, electrical, mechanical and other inventions. Like many of the Fortune 500 companies, we have found that these patent attorneys and engineers are as capable of providing high quality patent research and drafting services as their U.S. counterparts.

We run thorough conflict checks to ensure that our representation, including the involvement of our India-based IP Specialists, does not create a conflict of interest. Furthermore, we maintain all security measures to ensure confidentiality of the client information at all levels. Our India-based IP Specialists are not licensed attorneys or agents in the United States and only work closely in support capacity with our U.S. attorneys. Our U.S. attorneys are licensed practitioners who are exclusively responsible for rendering legal advice to the clients.  They actively manage each client matter and closely supervise and review any research or work product generated by India-based support staff.  Our U.S. patent attorneys carefully review all representations and claims before any document is filed in the USPTO.

Export Control Considerations

To ensure compliance with export control regulations, Intellipex carefully screens each patent project prior to commencing work. Intellipex will notify the client if, in its opinion, an export license is required to do the work.
